Grupa Niewiadów S.A. signs contract to supply mines to the Polish Armed Forces

Zakłady Sprzętu Precyzyjnego Niewiadów, part of the Niewiadów Group, has signed a contract with the Armament Agency for the supply of PŁOMIEŃ signal mines to the Polish Armed Forces. Under the contract, between 24,500 and 44,500 units of this specialized equipment will be delivered between 2025 and 2027.

It is worth recalling that in 2025, Polska Grupa Militarna S.A., listed on NewConnect, merged with Grupa Niewiadów S.A., resulting in the creation of a new capital group with enhanced technological and operational potential.

The signing of the contract for the supply of PŁOMIEŃ signal mines with the Armament Agency is a significant event for us. This contract not only strengthens our Group's order portfolio, but also confirms the high level of trust placed in us by the Armament Agency. We are proud that our expertise and manufacturing experience have once again been recognized by government institutions responsible for national security. The implementation of this contract will be an important element in the further development of the Group, and at the same time an expression of our contribution to the construction of a modern, integrated, and effective national defense system," emphasizes Grzegorz Niedzielski, President of the Management Board of PGM S.A. and Grupa Niewiadów S.A.

Niewiadów Precision Equipment Works has signed a contract with the Armament Agency for the supply of PŁOMIEŃ signal mines. Under the agreement, between 2025 and 2027, ZSP will deliver – depending on the final scope of the order – no less than 24,500 and no more than 44,500 PŁOMIEŃ signal mines, with most deliveries to be made in 2026 and 2027.

It should also be noted that PŁOMIEŃ signal mines are different from the mines announced by the Group on July 1, when the information concerned the development of large-scale production capabilities for anti-personnel mines.

The FLAME signaling mine is designed to protect military facilities, storage areas, border crossings, etc., serving as a warning and signaling device.

Defense sector company

The merger of Polska Grupa Militarna S.A., listed on the NewConnect stock exchange, with Grupa Niewiadów S.A., a recognized manufacturer of special-purpose equipment and solutions for the military and civilian sectors, has led to the creation of a new capital group with enhanced operational and technological potential.

The integrated entity operates in the broadly understood defense sector. The Group also includes companies specializing in the development of unmanned systems (drones), dual-use products, military logistics, and modern technologies for the military. The Group holds a license from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration for the production and storage of ammunition, trade in military products, and develops advanced solutions that meet the needs of the modern battlefield.

One of the most important assets is ZSP Niewiadów, a company with over 100 years of history in arms production and experience in supplying the Polish Armed Forces. Currently, the Group is implementing a strategic project to build a modern 155 mm caliber ammunition factory, responding to the growing defense needs of Poland and its allies. 155 mm caliber ammunition is a key element of the equipment of armed forces around the world.

Thanks to the scale of its operations, complementary high-level expertise, and modern technological facilities, the Group forms a strong defense industry holding company—one of the most comprehensive and dynamically developing private entities in the country. The Group's products are sold both on the domestic market and for export.
