32/2023 | Extension of the license to include the storage of weapons and ammunition and the leasing of a warehouse

The Management Board of Polska Grupa Militarna S.A., with its registered office in Warsaw (“the Issuer”), announces that it has decided to submit an application to extend the license referred to in ESPI Current Report No. 27/2023 dated October 25, 2023, to include activities involving the storage of weapons and ammunition. At the same time, the Issuer’s Management Board has decided to take steps to lease storage space for such activities.

The expansion of the license to include the storage of weapons and ammunition should enable the Issuer to effectively manage its growing product range. Due to the specific nature of the industry, the storage of weapons and ammunition requires special security conditions and appropriate permits. The extension of the license addresses these requirements, ensuring the legality and security of the Issuer’s storage operations.

At the same time, given the Issuer’s forecast of increased demand for its products in 2024, leasing additional warehouse space is essential to ensure adequate logistics infrastructure. The warehouse will allow for the storage of a larger quantity of goods and their efficient distribution, which is crucial for meeting customer expectations. The Issuer notes that it anticipates a significant increase in demand for the military and defense products it offers in 2024. This stems from the rapidly changing geopolitical situation and the growing awareness among governments and private entities regarding the importance of investing in security. Based on these assumptions, the Issuer is taking steps to prepare to meet this increased demand, which translates into the need for an extensive and well-managed warehouse infrastructure.
