The Management Board of Polska Grupa Militarna S.A., with its registered office in Warsaw (the “Issuer”), announces that today, October 25, 2023, the Issuer obtained a license from the Minister of the Interior and Administration to conduct business activities in the following areas:
1/ The trade in explosives (classes 1.1–1.4 according to ADR) specified in paragraphs 1–4 of Part II, “Types of Explosives – MW,” of the Annex to the Regulation of the Council of Ministers of September 17, 2019, on the classification of types of explosives, weapons, ammunition, and products and technologies intended for military or police use, for the manufacture or trade of which a license is required (Journal of Laws of 2019, item 1888) – without the right to store,
2/ The trade in the types of weapons specified in paragraphs 1–12 of Part III – Types of Weapons and Ammunition – BA – of the Annex to the aforementioned regulation, without the right to store them,
3/ The trade in the types of ammunition specified in paragraphs 13–30 of Part III – Types of Weapons and Ammunition – BA – of the Annex to the aforementioned regulation, without the right to store such ammunition,
4/ Trade in products intended for military or police use as defined in items: WT I–WT XII and WT XIV of Part IV – Types of Products and Technologies Intended for Military or Police Use – of the Annex to the aforementioned regulation, without the right to store such products,
5/ Trade in technology intended for military or police use, as specified in Section WT XIII – Part IV – Types of Products and Technologies Intended for Military or Police Use – of the Annex to the aforementioned regulation, without the right to store such technology.
The concession was granted for 50 years.
The granting of the license represents a key step in the implementation of the Issuer’s plans for 2023–2024. It enables the Issuer to fully operate in the trade of ammunition, weapons, and advanced technology intended for military and police use. Thanks to the obtained license, the Issuer will strengthen its market position and will be able to effectively implement its growth strategies, responding to the growing demand from the defense, police, and civilian sectors.
