The Management Board of Polska Grupa Militarna S.A., with its registered office in Warsaw (“the Issuer”), announces that on January 3, 2024, the Issuer entered into an agreement with Polska Fabryka Amunicji sp. z o.o., with its registered office in Skarżysko Kamienna (“the Manufacturer”), for the production of small arms ammunition. The subject of the agreement is the production of no fewer than 1,000,000 rounds of 9×19 mm caliber ammunition under the “Pocisk” brand, owned by the Issuer, with the Issuer’s marking on each cartridge, by March 31, 2024. The ammunition will be manufactured in accordance with the technical and quality specifications provided by the Issuer. The agreement provides for the possibility of placing an order for ammunition in quantities exceeding 1,000,000 rounds.
The Issuer notes that this is the first contract for the production of small-arms ammunition entered into by the Issuer since obtaining its license, as announced by the Issuer in ESPI Current Report No. 27/2023 dated October 25, 2023.
The Issuer explains that the conclusion and performance of the agreement in question should enable the Issuer to enhance its operational stability and improve its business efficiency.
In the Issuer’s view, the conclusion of this agreement confirms the Issuer’s ability to conduct business in the field of ammunition trading, which should have a significant impact on the Issuer’s future financial results.
