Niewiadów Polska Grupa Militarna S.A. is involved in a wide range of projects that integrate modern technologies. We are also passionate about robotics, which is why, through our subsidiary TechRobotics, we develop and manufacture robots for shooting training that are used in daily operations by, among others, the Polish Border Guard, the Police, the State Protection Service, the Prison Service, and the GROM special forces unit.
We live in a time of widespread tension, when the need for self-defense is growing. In 2023, Poland saw a record increase in the number of new gun permits issued, meaning that today there are over 300,000 civilians actively engaged in shooting sports.
However, it is not the mere possession of a weapon that determines one’s ability to defend oneself, but rather one’s marksmanship skills—and these should be honed through regular training. Professional military forces understand this, which is why they place such a strong emphasis on marksmanship training under conditions that closely resemble real-world scenarios.
This is where the shooting training robots developed by our company, TechRobotics, come in handy.
Military and civilian technologies are increasingly intertwined. This is because people are constantly finding new applications for technological innovations. We see enormous potential in this, which is why, as we work on our technology projects, we seek the broadest possible range of applications for them. We are also looking for ways to apply solutions developed in one project to others.
A good example is how we applied our experience with training shooting robots to our drone project, specificallyin the development of our UGV (Unmanned Ground Vehicle) ReconPatrol.
